HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (December 16, 2016) – Today, PJ’s Coffee, a coffee franchise from New Orleans, officially announced the opening of its second store in Vietnam, located at 145 – 147 Nguyen Co Thach street, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. The Grand Opening event featured traditional Lion Dances, a ribbon-cutting ceremony together with free-flow PJ’s Coffee and a wide selection of drinks and baked pastries..  This is the second move of PJ’s Coffee in Vietnam following the opening of its first store located at Vincom Center Dong Khoi, District 1. As part of its expansion in Vietnam, the master franchise plans to open at least 10 additional stores in the next five years.

“We’re excited to see the expansion of PJ’s Coffee in Vietnam. Adding to the line-up of international coffee brands currently available here, we bring unique flavor of high-end coffee and tea products from New Orleans.”, said Rick Yvanovich, Founder & CEO of TRG International – the master franchisee for PJ’s Coffee in Vietnam. “Our PJ’s Coffee stores offer Vietnamese customers a comfortable place to meet and relax whilst enjoying awesome cold-brew coffee and tea.” Sharing a similar humid climate and French-inspired culture, Vietnam and New Orleans also share a strong love for coffee. Committed to providing customers with a pure flavor of coffee, PJ’s Coffee uses a special cold-drip process that helps to protect the strength of the beans while decreasing 2/3 amount of acidic in coffee. This unique technique was pioneered by PJ’s Coffee’s founder nearly 40 years ago and is available at all PJ’s Coffee locations.
